Day 1: Ha Giang – Dong Van (125 km)

At 8.30 am our easy-rider tour-guides will first meet you at your hotel to get to know each other, then set up your luggage on our motorcycles and set off to explore the countryside with rice terraces, dragon fruit farms and many more on hillsides.

Soon, we twist the throttle to lift you up to the famous Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark to admire breathtaking scenery and isolated Mong villages. On the way, we’ll have small breaks to capture scenic views, interact with locals to understand the agriculture in their fatherland.

Next, Vuong Castle is a must-visit site that helps us understand this remote region’s history before heading to Dong Van ancient town.

In the evening we’ll explore local cuisine and the night market after accommodation check-in.

Day 2: Dong Van – Meo Vac (90 km)

The second day is a short day for riding but a big day for seeing. With 90 km of thrilling mountain roads descending from the peak, cruising along the lush valley and ascending to the mountain, it promises an eye-opening and soul-refreshing day.

We start our day with a beautiful ride on mountain roads to capture rice terraces, visit ancient Lo Lo Chai village and set foot on the Lung Cu flag tower.

We then ride to the Monument of Happiness route where you get stories of Ma Pi Leng pass and local life, and walk to the famous Death Cliff for a panorama of picturesque scenery.

We arrive at Meo Vac town at about 5pm and should give each other a high five for a great second day.

Day 3: Meo Vac – Du Gia (80km)

Du Gia is a peaceful valley with villages of Tay ethnic minority having been here for centuries living by farming and fishing. This remote region has become well-known for its tranquility, idyllic landscapes and hospitality.

To start the day, we will walk to a nearby market for breakfast and coffee, then descend to Nho Que Hydroelectric Power Plant. Here a boat cruise on a jewel-blue river lets us enjoy breathtaking Tu San canyon and picturesque villages.

On the way to Du Gia, we stop at some random viewpoints to enjoy the beauty of rice terraces, Lung Ho valley, French history relics, then refresh our body at a waterfall.

We will cheer for another wonderful day at a homestay where locals welcome you with their homemade “happy water” and family dinner.

Day 4: Du Gia – Ha Giang (100km)

100km is just perfect for our last day with intermittent breaks to capture breathtaking scenery and explore local villages.

Enjoy breakfast with picturesque rice fields, after that we have an incredible ride through Duong Thuong valley onward to Lung Tam valley where you’ll experience the Mong handmade products.

Afterwards, we will embark on mountain roads to remote regions with lush rainforest, peaceful lakes and scenic views then descend back to Ha Giang.
