This Easy Rider Tour Dalat to Saigon is different from the other one following the coastline. The new route of the HCM trail discovered by the Vietnam Easy-rider Tours team offers a big chance to explore the real Vietnam. We’ll get deep into the Central Highland and access remote regions where you experience rural life, interact with local culture, visit history places and cruise on wonderful countryside roads.

This tour also runs in reverse from Saigon/HCMC to Dalat.

Itinerary

Day 1: Dalat- Lak lake (165 km)

Lak lake is a freshwater lake that covers an area of about 6.2 km square and is the largest freshwater one in the Central Highland. It is also the second largest natural freshwater lake in Vietnam. This lake is the home of the M’nong ethnic minority. This first day trip offers 165 km of mountain roads with beautiful landscapes, endless coffee plantations, vivid green rice fields and villages of ethnic minority people.

At 8.30 A.M, our easy-rider tour will meet you at your accommodation. We pack your luggage on our motorcycles, get to know each other and set off to explore Nam Ban district which is famous for silk, coffee plantations,pagodas, etc. We come to villages to visit their farms, to see rural life and to taste homemade products.

Keep our ride on mountain roads to get “wow” scenery, to visit Elephant waterfall, and to access villages of hill tribes before we arrive at Lak lake with sunset on rice fields.

Day 2: Lak lake – Nam Kar Nature Reserve (140 km)

With over 24 000 ha of tropical forest, Nam Kar plays an important nature conservation area that is perfect for one day discovery.

Good morning Lak lake with a cup of Vietnam drip coffee, then we hit the road to visit villages of the M’nong ethnic minority. Your easy-rider tour guides will play the role of interpreters to help you interact with local people here in order to know more about their language, culture and lifestyle.

We then head to the local market nearby to get ingredients for picnic lunch during Nam Kar Natural Reserve discovery where we drive, trek, take pictures and immerse ourselves in the beauty of natural waterfalls in this area.

We’ll get a cozy homestay with BBQ dinner and homemade “happy-water” at Dak Mil town.

Day 3: Dak Mil – Dong Xoai (170 KM)

When we talk about Dong Xoai, we talk about the plantations of cashew nuts and rubber. This New route day customized by Vietnam Easy-rider Tours team promises one day no-tourist- -region exploration.

Local breakfast and coffee provided by the homestay would be a great memory of rural Vietnam then get ready for another great day. This morning we’ll be exploring a national park via the HCM trail recently opened for traveling. Embark on an Easy-rider route called Border Bell running through rainforests paralleling the Cambodian border will help you understand what HCM trail is and its background. Next, we will stop at the memorial state to share stories about the Vietnam war.

Finish the national park, you again immerse yourself into vivid green farms of cashew nuts and rubber along the hillside.

We end this fabulous day at Dong Xoai at about 5P.M.

Day 4: Dong Xoai – Saigon/HCMC (140 KM)

With a population of over 16 million people, Ho Chi Minh City has become the most crowded place in Vietnam. With this fact being said, to explore this city daily life, traffic, cuisine, and so on , could be an unforgettable adventure of your journey.

Leaving Dong Xoai after a special-prepared breakfast, we have about a 100 KM cruise on countryside roads. You even get more experience of local life when you see what they do in their fatherland.

A random ferry takes us across Saigon river to visit Cu Chi tunnel, one of the must-visit sites in Vietnam. Guided by your Easy-riders, you’ll be excited about its background as well as functions during the war.
Move to the city center, perhaps we’ll be reaching here during the rush hour so it’s interesting to see how local people deal with the traffic.

Prices for our motorbike tours are quoted in USD and VND. For other currencies, please check the exchange rate of the day. Payment can be made via Vietnamese bank account or PayPal.

10-30% tour deposit is required to secure your booking, and the balance must be paid no later than the day of departure. Self-riders are required a motorbike deposit of $50 US. If you cause damage to the motorbike, you are responsible for the cost of fixing it. This to keep our motorcycles in good condition for you and for the next clients.

Sometimes our clients happen to cancel the tour which has been confirmed and deposit paid due to unexpected reason(s). Please notice that your deposit is non-refundable once your booking is confirmed. If you need to cancel, provide at least 72 hours notice so we are able to cancel all the arrangements for the tour. If you cancel less than 72 hours before the tour, we reserve the right to retain the full tour cost.
